Page audit, AEO/GEO and the top bar

Chapter 9 of 11

Click the icon on any website for a full on-page check, and use the top bar for quick numbers and handy tools.

Open the page audit

The page is read inside your browser. Its content is not sent to SBMM. Only the domain name is looked up to show its numbers on the Overview tab.

  1. 1Open any website page you want to check.
  2. 2Click the pinned SBMM icon next to the address bar.
  3. 3The audit opens in a small window. Use the tabs to move between sections, and the round arrow at the top to run it again.

What each tab checks

Overview: the site numbers (DR, DA, traffic and more) and a summary of the page.

Audit: indexing, security, content and mobile checks, each with pass or fix.

Headings: the full H1 to H6 outline, with gaps and skipped levels marked.

Links: internal, external and nofollow links. Images: size, format and missing alt text, with downloads.

Schema: the structured data on the page. Social: Open Graph and social card tags.

Redirects: the full redirect path of the page or any URL you paste, with each status code.

Detector: the CMS, theme, plugins and other technology the site uses. Performance: loading speed numbers from your own visit.

Link Finder: phrases on this page that could link to your other pages. Internal Link Graph: crawls the site (up to 300 pages) to find orphan and weakly linked pages.

Tools: what the site is built with, links to check the site on free outside SEO tools, and buttons for HTML vs DOM, the full audit report and highlighting nofollow links.

Settings: turn SBMM or any single feature on or off. The chapter on settings explains it.

AEO / GEO score

The AEO / GEO tab gives the page a score out of 100. AEO is how ready the page is to be used as a direct answer: clear answers, good structure and easy access. GEO is how ready it is to be cited by generative search: entities, structured data, trust and sources.

Under the score you get a list of fixes, sorted by impact. Copy the report, or save it as JSON or a printable page.

The top bar on every website

A slim bar sits at the top of every website you open. It shows the site numbers: DR, DA, AEO and GEO scores, spam score, traffic, referring domains, backlinks, domain age, pages in the sitemap, URLs indexed, world rank, word count of the article, when it was last updated, the CMS and the ad networks it uses (Monetized).

URLs Indexed shows "Check" until you click it. A click opens a Google search for the site in a background tab and reads the count.

Click the small arrow under the bar to hide it. It stays hidden on every site until you open it again, and while it is hidden it does not look anything up.

In the popup Settings tab you can turn off only the site numbers and keep the tools, turn off single tools, or turn the whole top bar off.

The top bar: site numbers on the left, tools on the right.

Top bar tools

Color picker: pick any colour on the screen. The hex code is copied and saved in a small colour history.

Full page screenshot: scrolls the page and saves one long image.

Area screenshot: drag a box over any part of the page to save it.

Bulk URL opener: paste up to 50 URLs, or load them from the site's sitemap, and open each one in its own tab.

Text extractor: grabs the clean article text without menus and ads. Copy it or download it as TXT or Markdown.

KWs Ideas: opens Keyword Ideas, with your current Google search as the seed.
