What the extension shows on Etsy
Chapter 18 of 25The bar under each listing picture, the keyword row, the listing row and the shop row: what each number means.
Where the numbers appear
Search pages, market pages and category pages get a small bar right under each listing picture. Search and market pages also get a keyword row at the top.
A listing page gets a row with its audit score and numbers. A shop page gets a row with the shop's numbers.
Hover over any number to see the exact figure and what it means.
The bar under each listing picture
The bar sits right under the listing picture, above any colour dots and the title.
Under the bar, a line shows Est. sales, Revenue and Month. These are estimates for that one listing: sales over its whole life, the revenue that makes at today's price, and an average per month. Hover over a number for more. Real sales can be higher or lower.
Age is how long ago the listing was first created, for example 5.5y for five and a half years or 7mo for seven months. Hover to see the exact date.
Favs is how many people added the listing to their favorites.
Views is how many times the listing has been viewed in its whole life, the number Etsy gives.
Outlier appears only on listings that stand out. It compares this listing's views per day with the other listings on the same page, so 8.9x means nearly nine times the views per day of a typical listing there. Most listings show no Outlier at all, and that is normal. A high Outlier is the listing to study: look at its photos, title and price.
Shop sales is the total the whole shop has sold, from Etsy. It is not the sales of this one listing. When a card shows Outlier, the label is shortened to Sales to fit.
The small arrow at the end opens the listing on Etsy in a new tab.
The keyword row
Keyword is the search on the page. Etsy listings is how many listings compete for it.
Web searches/mo is about how many times a month people search this phrase on the web. It is web demand, not Etsy's own search count. The small line next to it shows the last 12 months.
Difficulty is a score from 0 to 100 for how hard it is to reach the top results on Etsy for this keyword. Avg price is the average price of the top listings.
Press Keyword ideas to open the ideas panel. The chapter on Etsy keywords explains it.
The row on a listing page
The ring shows the listing's audit grade and its score out of 100.
Fix first shows the most important checks for this listing, such as No word stuffing. Hover over one to see the reason and how to fix it.
Age, Favs, Views, Shop sales and Category work like the bar on search pages.
Est. sales, Est. revenue and Sales / mo are estimates for this listing. Etsy shares sales for a whole shop but not for a single listing, so these three are ours. Real sales can be higher or lower, so use them to compare listings and spot what sells, not as exact figures.
Est. sales covers the listing's whole life and is never more than the shop's real total. Est. revenue is about that many sales at today's price. Hover to see what each one is based on. A dash means there is no estimate, and the hover text says why.
Visit shop opens the shop on Etsy. Full audit opens the full report. A narrow window hides the less important cells so the row still fits.
The row on a shop page
Age is how long the shop has been open. Listings is its active listings. Sales is the shop's total, from Etsy. Favorers is how many people favorited the shop. Rating and Reviews come from its buyers. Country is shown when the shop gives one.
Track shop adds the shop to Competitor Sales in your account, so you can follow its daily sales. Once you track a shop, this row also shows its 7d sales and 30d sales. Those fill in from the day after you start.
Turning it off
The power button at the end of a row turns off Etsy data. The row stays with a Turn on button, so you can bring it back from the same place. Nothing is asked for while it is off.
The same switch is at the top of the popup.
